Billy E. Miller, age 63, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2017 surrounded by his family following his courageous and short battle with lung cancer. Billy was born in Canton, OH on September 3, 1953. He and his wife started a family and have resided in North Canton for 40 plus years. He was a 1971 graduate of Timken High School. Billy enjoyed a 30-year career as an HV/AC salesman and was loved by all of the customers he served. He will be remembered for how much he loved his family. In his spare time, Billy loved hunting, fishing, motorcycle rides, vacations with his wife, and time with his daughters and grandchildren. He also enjoyed entertaining at Club Miller, boating, the Pittsburgh Steelers, music, camping, shots of Crown and being the life of the party. Billy had a great sense of humor and had a larger than life personality. You could always count on his unsolicited advice and him throwing you the peace sign. Billy is survived by his wife, Bonnie Baker Miller, of 43 years. They met at the young age of 14 and were wed on December 29, 1974 in Canton, Ohio. He is also survived by two daughters, Angela (Aaron) Chevraux and Jenna (Sam) Mollet; grandchildren, Kira, Sammy, Maddox, Colton; mother, Ruby; brothers, Tony (Elaine), Ken (Marie); sister, Betty (Randy), and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Billy was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. He was preceded in death by his father, William Miller, stepfather, Dean Taff, and his grandparents. Immediate services were private by the family. A celebration of life and fundraiser will be held SUNDAY, March 26, 2017 at the VFW Post 9904/Greentown, 8695 Cleveland Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
