Beverly L. Miller Beverly L Miller,84, passed away March 24, 2010. She was born in Collinsville, IL April 12, 1925. Beverly resided in Collinsville until she moved to Barberton, Ohio in 1944. There she met and married Glen F. Miller on May 15, 1949. Beverly worked at the PPG and Marshall's Department Store until 1958 when she began working at the Barberton Herald. She eventually became the editor and publisher and was most proud of bringing the newspaper from hot type format to the more modern offset printing of that newspaper. She remained there until her retirement in 1981 when she and her husband moved to Deltona, FL. They enjoyed many years together as fishing buddies' until his death in 1985. She returned to the Ohio area in 2001. Beverly enjoyed a full retirement and traveled to many countries including China, Great Britain, Spain and throughout the United States. She was a past member of the First Lutheran Church, Eastern Star and the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Glen, brother Ed and sister Bette. She is survived by sister Delores Holiday and three daughters, Karen (Albert)Hartman, Kathleen (Jim) Cunningham and Marla (Skip) Lewis. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Shelly (Mark) Savan, Jack Davis, Jill (Michael) Johnson, Glen Hartman, Justin (Corrinne) Cunningham, Jason Lewis and Beverly Julia Lewis and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves special friend, Clarence Ferguson. Private family services will be held at Arnold Funeral Home Friday, March 26 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Doug Patton officiating.
