Beverly Adelman, age 87, of Canton passed away Friday morning December 14, 2007 at The Inn at Belden Village. She was born December 14, 1920 in Toronto, Canada to the late Henry and Anna Goldman. After graduating from Glenville High School in Cleveland she worked for the Bureau of Unemployment Compensation. She married Irving Adelman September 6, 1945 and was the office manager for Adelman's Truck Parts and Sales. Beverly was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue. Upon retirement she lived in Palm Beach Garden, Florida and traveled extensively overseas and in the United States. She loved a good game of golf and bridge. Preceded in death by husband Irving on December 11, 1972; sisters Phylis Goldman, Leah Hochhauser; brother Dr. Harry Goldman. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Sherry Adelman of Canton, Phillip Adelman of Cleveland, Carl and Mary Lou Adelman of Canton; grandchildren Lisa Adelman of Chicago, Britain Adelman of CA, Aaron Adelman and Jordan Adelman both of Canton; and brother Sol Goldman of San Diego, CA. Funeral services will be held Sunday 1:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Final resting place is Canton Hebrew Cemetery. A Brunch follows interment at Shaaray Torah Synagogue. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4815 Munson St.,NW Canton, OH 44718.
