Betty M. Yoder, age 87, of Massillon formerly of North Canton and Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born in Atwater, Ohio on May 18, 1928 to the late Harold and Harriett (Leister) Fox. She was married to George Yoder Sept. 1944 and he passed April 2005. She retired from the Marlington Schools cafeterias, mostly the Marlboro Elementary School. She was a member of the Hartville Mennonite Church and for the past 10 years had attended Amherst Community Church in Jackson Township with her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barb and Ken Snyder of Jackson Township, son and daughter-in-law Russ and Linda Yoder of Sarasota, Florida; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Marjorie Fox- Kuhn of Alliance; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Jerry Fox. Funeral services will be Monday 11 AM at Hartville Mennonite Church with Pastors Henry Shrock, Cal Hamblin and Galen Oakes II officiating.
