Betty June Wilson, of Lake Commons in Uniontown, OH went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Altercare of Alliance. She was born on September 25, 1926 in North Lima, Ohio to the late Clyde A. and Nellie R. (Hunt) Bacon. She married her high school sweetheart, Merle F. Wilson on July 5, 1947. Together they graduated from Cleveland Bible College. They served congregations for over 50 years in Pennsylvania. After retirement, they made their home in Ohio. She cooked and entertained for a lot of people through their ministry. Betty was a good example and mentor for everyone especially other ministers wives. She loved her family and flowers.

Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Merle; daughter Carol Shaffer; grandson Jason Wilson; 2 sisters Ruth Hazlett, Jean Morton and brother Clyde Bacon.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Butch and Virginia Wilson of Mount Pleasant, PA; 5 grandchildren Elizabeth (Chris) Lorince, Rachel Wilson, Karen (Ricky) Lake, Sarah (Jamie) Villinger, Linda (Matt) Flournoy; 9 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Friday 1-2 PM and funeral services are at 2 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Pastorious officiating. Final resting place is Restland Memorial Park in Monroeville. She will be laid to rest on Saturday at 10 AM.
