Betty A. Harris "Aunt Bea" age 83, of Canton passed away peacefully Friday evening in Windsor Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Louisville, OH to the late Clarence and Florence (Rebillot) Bowers she was a 1945 graduate of Louisville High School, and moved to Canton in 1955. Betty was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of North Canton, St. Paul's Women's Guild, Ladies of North Canton Elk's. NBC Group, AARP # 2894 and Prime Time Seniors. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert J. Harris, a nephew Dennis "Denny" Snyder, 2 brothers Bud & Harold Bowers and her step father: Matthew Crowl, and most recently by her sister Dolores Snyder who passed away May 9th of this year. She is survived by a nephew: Douglas E.( Lana) Snyder of N. Canton. Great Nephew: Dan (Carolyne) Snyder and great niece Jill (Scott) Wilson. Sisters-in-law: Marian Bowers of Canton and Nancy Harris of Des Moines, IA. and her children to whom Betty was a beloved Aunt. Funeral service will be Tuesday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Msgr. James A. Clarke officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
