Betty J. Fausnight, age 87, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away March 19, 2025, at Green Meadows. She was born on November 4, 1937, in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to the late John and Jeanie (Forkham) Jones and was one of 10 children growing up on a tobacco farm. Following her graduation from high school, Betty moved to the Canton area and met the love of her life, James "Jim" Fausnight, while serving as a waitress at the Pantry in Hartville. Betty spent several years working as a waitress but also worked side by side with her husband in various roles. She always enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family and could be found following her favorite soap operas and gameshows. She adored her role as Mimi to her grandchildren and being with each of them.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Jim and all her siblings. She is survived by her children Torri (Greg) Howell, of Canton, Tracy (Steve) Linville of West Virginia, and James (Chelsea) Fausnight of Dayton; grandchildren Heather (William) Jackson, Becca Rhodes, Aaron, Nathaniel, and Camden Fausnight; great-grandchildren Haylee, Sydney, Lyla and Noah.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 26 from 10 – 11 AM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral services will be at 11 AM in the funeral home with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating. Final resting place is with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
