Obituary

Bernard "Bernie" Peroz, age 92 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021.

He was born October 16,1928, in Alliance, Ohio to Louis and Lillian (Moulin) Peroz.

Bernie attended Mt. Union College and Kent State University.

Mr. Peroz's business career began at Transue and Williams Corporation where

he was a timekeeper and became a Data Processor and System Analyst. Later he

became Manager of Systems and Data Processing for Universal Cooperatives.

In 1977 he moved to Minnesota with the company. From1980 until his retirement

he worked for Braemar Computer Corporation in Burnsville, MN., first as Controller,

then as Treasurer and CFO, finally as CEO. He spent 14 years in Stuart Florida

before returning to Ohio in 2019. During his business career he served Burnsville as

President of Burnsville Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Burnsville

City Council. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus, Elks Lodge and the

National Association of Accountants.

Bernie is survived by his wife of 71 years, Patricia Ann (Burns) Peroz; daughters,

Sue (Chris) Clay, Mari (Jeremy) Kent; sons, Mike (Mary Joy) Peroz, Terry Peroz,

Pat (Karen) Peroz, Tim (Lupe) Peroz, Jim (Kim) Peroz; daughter-in-law Cheryl Peroz;

13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son,

Stephen in April 2021 and two brothers.

Calling hours will be Friday June 11. 2021, 10-11;00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic

Church in Alliance. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Very

Rev. Cannon Matthew Mankowski as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph

Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to
