Bernadine C. Wood, age 87, of Hartville, went to be with the Lord on Good Friday March 21, 2008 at McCrea manor. She was born March 5, 1921 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Bill and Anna Mae (Trussel) Crook and met her husband, Paul, at the arsenal during WW II when they both worked there. She had been the head cashier for Hartville IGA for over 40 years. Her whole life was serving the Lord and her family. Preceded in death by husband Paul M. Wood in 1985; daughter Iris, son Ralph and 5 siblings. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Milene Wood of Hartville; daughter and son -in-law, Paulette and Frank Morris of FL; brother Roy Crook of Norwich, OH; grandchildren, Danny and Mandy Wood of Canton, Deanna and Eric Minetola of NC and Bernie Wood of Hartville.
