Basil C. Correale, 89, passed peacefully at his home, on October 13, 2024. He was born on October 28, 1934 in New Rochelle, New York to the late Vincenzo and Adelina (Cesario) Correale.

Following his high school graduation, Basil proudly served his country in the United States Army. While stationed in Germany, Basil met his future wife Renate. They shared 67 loving years together.

Basil spent his career as a salesman for over 35 years with Standard Brands before retiring from the former Karklin-McLellan-Harris (KMH).

Throughout his entire life, he enjoyed golfing, which included 6 holes-in-one, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Basil is survived by his wife, Renate Correale; children Joanna (Mark) Mazzola, Vincent Correale, Peggy (Michael) Wagner, Frank (Laura) Correale and Maria (Dan) Mueller; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Basil was preceded in death by his two sisters, Palma Correale and Connie Tatta-Colangelo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 241 S Main St, North Canton, OH 44720.

Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery.
