Barbara L. Niedenthal, age 87, of Canton, passed away on Saturday November 5, 2022. She was born in Cambridge on March 9, 1935 to the late John and Mary (Durkee) Chlovechok. She married Richard F. Niedenthal on October 27, 1956.

Preceded in death by husband Richard in 1985; infant daughter Alwyn; 7 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her son Rick Niedenthal; and daughter Lori.

Barbara was a loving wife and mother.  She was a dedicated homemaker with a caring and meticulous touch which made everything just a little more special. She enjoyed flowers, animals (especially dogs), reading a book before bedtime, Sunday drives and sports. Her favorite sport was baseball, and she was a life long Cleveland Indians fan who enjoyed their return to winning in the 90's.  Barbara also had a life long love of classic movies, especially musicals.

A graveside committal of cremains will be at Welty Cemetery on Friday 2:30 PM, November 18, 2022.
