On the morning of December 27th, 2023, Barbara Meehan(Smith), of Louisville, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord. She was 90 years old. Preceded in death by her loving husband, David C Meehan, beloved daughter, Connie Armour (Meehan), and precious grandson David F. Meehan II. Barbara was born in Martins Ferry, OH January 10th, 1933 living the majority of her life in Canton. She married David C. Meehan (the boy next door) in 1950, sharing 59 wonderful years of marriage.

Barbara was proud of her accomplishments as a Surgical Technician and then manager for Goodwill Industries of Canton where she retired. She spent her time volunteering for The United Way, as well as Sunday School and Awana teacher, devoting much of her time to Children's ministries at Firestone Road Baptist Church and Louisville Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her children Karen(David) Minor and David(Cathy) Meehan, Grandchildren Karla (Matthew) Ramsey, Emily (David) Fisher, Kristen Greathouse, Michael, Isiah, and Nathaniel Meehan, and Nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life on December 30th at the church. Service will begin at 3pm with reception to follow at Louisville Baptist Temple 6565 Columbus Road, Louisville, Ohio 44641.
