Barbara D. Correll, age 74 of Canton, passed away Thursday night April 26, 2018, in her residence with her family by her side. She was born March 15, 1944 in Canton to Richard and Louise (Kelly) Davis. Barb graduated from Central Catholic High School and Mercy School of Nursing. As a registered nurse she worked at several Long Term Care Facilities. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her grandkids. She loved helping others in anyway possible.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce in 2002 and a sister, Patricia Ring. Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Correll of North Canton; sons, John (Kathy) Correll of Perry Township, Jason (Megan) Correll of Wooster; sister Carolyn (Robert) Lowrie of Phoenix, Arizona, Janet Davis of Evansville, Indiana; brother, Rick (Lori) Davis of Gainesville, Florida; grandchildren, Jason Abbott, Nicholas Abbott, Amelia Correll, Marshall Correll; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kallie, Tatum and Bryce; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Our family would like to thank the many friends, family, neighbors and coworkers who provided comfort, support and assistance over the past month. A special thank you to our close friend and caregiver, Kate Sponseller whose love and support has been immeasurable.

Calling hours will be Tuesday evening 6-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton, Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Robinson officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Memorial donations are requested to the American Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
