Barbara Jean Bailey, age 74, formerly of Canton recently of Stone Creek, OH died Monday morning in St. Luke Lutheran Community after an extended illness. Born in Canton to the late Lester & Thelma (Moore) Watt, Barbara was the former owner operator of the Stark County Traffic Safety Program. She was a former member of Lowell United Church of Christ, O.E.S. and was a member of DAR & DAC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son William Bailey. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Donald L. Bailey. Daughter: Maureen (Timothy) Barr of N. Canton. Son: Robert Lee (Kathy) Bailey of Stone Creek. 4 grandchildren: Sara, Abby & Steven Barr and Dawn Lee Bailey. 2 great grandchildren: Brooke & Vanessa Baker. 2 brothers: George R. (Vicki) Watt of Canton and Thomas (Elizabeth) Watt of Columbus. A memorial service will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Raymond L. Tucker officiating. A private interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Luke's for their loving care of Barbara.
