Atlee Miller, Jr. age 71 of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 18, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center, unexpectedly. He was born to the late Atlee P. and Susanna (Cross) Miller on August 3, 1939 in the same home in which he resided the majority of his life. He was baptized as a youth in Maple Grove Mennonite Church where he used his musical talents. After retiring from masonry after 40 plus years, he enjoyed farming and his hobbies. He was passionate about caring for family, especially grandchildren, friends and people in the community. He is survived by his wife Twila, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this October 29th; children Tracy (Janet) Miller, Terry (Juanita) Miller, Diana (Paul) Coblentz, Todd (Tina) Miller, Doris (Matt) Yoder; grandchildren, Jeremy, Kristen, Daniel, John Paul Miller, Brandon and Melissa Miller, Jesse and Rachel Coblentz, Abe and Jake Miller, Maxwell and Dylan Yoder; siblings Irene Hershberger of Hartville, William (Josephine) Miller of MI, Betty (Joseph) Mast of FL, Mary Alice (Roman) Hostetler of OH, Fannie (Martin) Yoder of TN, Dorothy (Wilmer) Weaver of Hartville, Susan (William) Weaver of TN, Mahlon (Alyce) Miller and Daniel Miller all of Hartville; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by brother Wallace Miller. Calling hour are Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM in Maple Grove Mennonite Church, 2121 Smith-Kramer, Hartville. Funeral services are Tuesday 10 AM in the church with Pastor Myron Weaver officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lake Township FISH Food Pantry.
