Arla Jean Escott, age 88, of Canton, Ohio went to her heavenly home on November 17, 2021. She was born September 5, 1933 in Hanoverton, Ohio to Spencer and Mabel (Arter) Sanor and was one of 12 children. She graduated from Randolph High School and dedicated most of her life to raising her 4 children. She enjoyed being outside, gardening, and being with her entire family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred and sons Mark and Dale. She is survived by her daughters Lori (Eric) Bratcher and Cheryl Escott Levinsky; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 10-11am on Monday, November 22 at Simpson United Methodist Church, the funeral will begin at 11am at the Church. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children's Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House in Akron.
