IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annabelle M
Bohaychyk
December 8, 1936 – April 5, 2015
Annabelle M. (Bloss) Bohaychyk Fearon, age 78, of Hartville, boldly entered the gates of heaven on Resurrection Day, April 5, 2015. She was born in New Baltimore, Ohio on December 8, 1936 to the late Arthur and Olga (Miller) Bloss and will forever be the little sister, Annie, to brothers she loved dearly. A 1954 graduate of Marlboro High School and a lifetime resident of Marlboro Township, Annabelle cared deeply, lived fully and loved people. Knowing how much they enjoyed reminiscing, she planned regular reunions and special gatherings for her high school classmates. Following her first career as homemaker, she was a Rural Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service for more than twenty-five years. She delivered mail, secretly created letters from Santa, hugs for those who were hurting and occasionally baby chicks. She considered herself richly blessed to have had forty-eight years, five children and a lifetime of family memories with her first husband, Richard Bohaychyk, whom she lost to pancreatic cancer in 2003. She turned her overwhelming grief to helping others as a respite care Hospice volunteer and served the past thirteen years as co-coordinator of The Chapel in Marlboro's weekly Grief Share program. An effort to encourage them in their journey through grief, she hosted regular "hen parties" for women participants. Annabelle felt doubly blessed to have found love for a second time when she married longtime friend, Don Fearon on November 26, 2011. She was a ready volunteer and community fundraiser, a longtime member of the Marlboro Women's Club, Marlboro Memorial Day Committee, FISH food pantry, and presiding judge for the Stark County Board of Elections. She is past president and Outstanding Alumna of the Marlington Alumni Association. She enjoyed camping at the beach or in her own back yard, cruises to anywhere, and extensive travel. She will be remembered by many as the generous pirate who buried special treasures for children in the backyard sand pile during Labor Day and Memorial Day campouts. We will think of her each time we enjoy seafood, elderberry pie, cream sticks or orange gumdrops. She was a Godly woman and will be missed terribly by her husband Don; children who loved her completely, Vondea (Dennis) Sheaffer, Vanessa (Tom) Richards, Crystal (Gorman) Rasmussen, Nick (Joy) Bohaychyk, Scot Bohaychyk; grandchildren whom she treasured, Joyeanna (David) Jones, Jennifer (Matthew) Green, Janelle Sheaffer, Kyle Richards, Kurt Richards, Travis Murphy, Brandon Murphy, Erik Rasmussen, James Rasmussen, Christopher Bohaychyk, Kelley Bohaychyk, Celine Bohaychyk, Nicholas Bohaychyk, Ashley (Randall) Romig, Brandon (Breanna) Bohaychyk, Broc Bohaychyk, Benjamin Bohaychyk, seven great-grandchildren; her brothers William (Lois) Bloss and Robert (Sharon) Bloss; Don's children, Kim (Dean) Deal, Donna (Brian) Harris and Mark Harris, Susan Thompson, Sandi McCullough, Amy (Robert) Shedrick; Don's grandchildren Brianna (Joe) Taube, Alyssa Harris, Blake Harris, Austin Harris, Jessica (Taime) Hill, Michael Harris, Matthew Thompson, Melissa Thompson, Sean McCullough, Dillon Shedrick, Brayden Shedrick, Cameron Shedrick, six great-grandchildren, by the host of longtime friends, card club members, her pen-pal of more than fifty years, Pam Ward of Torquay, England and the many others who grew to know and love her as Grandma Bo. The family will remember her and welcome friends Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at The Chapel in Marlboro and one hour prior to services Saturday 10-11 AM. The service to celebrate her life will be Saturday 11 AM at the church with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Final resting place is Marlboro Cemetery.
