Anna Hope Townsend, age 93. Born in Canton to the late Howard H. and Iva (Yovkins) Hill she was a life resident. Anna was a former employee of the Timken Company and O'Neil's Department Store. She is survived by many friends from the Inn at University Village and the Chapel Hill Community. In accordance with her wishes she will be privately interred in Forest Hill Cemetery.
