Anna Barbara Glosser, age 91, of Canton, passed away Friday February 4, 2011 at Hanover House. She was born August 7, 1919 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Clarence and Mary (Sheffer) Kalkman and graduated in 1937 from McKinley High School. Preceded in death by her husband Jack Glosser Sr.; son Jack Glosser Jr.; and brother Jim Kalkman. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barb and Joe Altimore of Canton; brother Sam Kalkman of Canton; sister-in-law Ruby Kalkman of Canton; grandchildren Joe (Sharon) Altimore of Canton, Dawn (Eric) Emerson of Cuyahoga Falls, Kristen Grayson of Virginia Beach, VA, Eric (Susan) Glosser of Poland, OH, Erin (Norman) McKnight of Beaver Falls, PA; great-grandchildren Madison Altimore, Tanner Grayson,Chelsea and Brendan Glosser, Emma, Ryleigh and Jack McKnight; and nieces and nephews. Anna was a member of and served as WM of Legacy Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, MCO Nazir Caldron, HP Kadesh Chapter Ladies Oriental Shrine, WHP McKinley Shrine Order of the Jerusalem. Calling hours are Tuesday 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Canton. On Tuesday the McKinley Shrine will have services at 5:15 PM and the Nazir Caldron will have services 5:30 PM. Funeral services are Wednesday 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Richard McBride officiating. Final resting place is Forest Hill Cemetery.
