Anna M. Fetrow, age 93 of Canton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center where she was surrounded by her children. Anna was born December 1, 1927 in Canton, Ohio to Leroy Sylvester and Anna Marie (Portman) Nist.

As a longtime member of The First Evangelical Congregational Church of Canton she served in many capacities. Being the song leader for worship services, leader of Bible School, missionary society work are some of the ways in which she served the Lord.

Anna is survived by her seven children: Nancy (Dennis)Cramer of Findlay, Ohio, Carole (David) Best of Girard, Ohio, William (Annie) Fetrow of Canton, Mary (Mark) Lallathin of Canton, Matthew (Christine) of Alvada, Ohio, Daniel (Pamela) Canton and Ruth Zitnik of Zanesville, Ohio.  Anna is also survived by her 27 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; brother Paul Nist; sister Patricia Shott and several nephews and nieces who were very close to her heart.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 50 years, Wesley;  sister Dorothy MaGreal and brothers, Richard, Bill and Leroy Nist.

Anna was a devoted Christian woman and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Anna will be greatly missed by all of us left behind. One thing people have always said to us is she is the sweetest woman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. October 30, 2021, at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N., Canton with her grandson, Rev. Craig Cramer officiating. Calling hours are two hours prior to the service 9-11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery.
