Anna Bontrager, age 95 of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Friday night May 8, 2009 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. She was born January 15, 1914 in Hartville, OH to the late John and Katie (Miller) Stutzman. She was a faithful member of Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Daniel D. Bontrager November 1987; daughter Clara Ott; grandson Harley "Butch" Bontrager Jr; and great-grandson Michael Dean Schrock; 6 brothers Abraham, Joseph, David "Dutch", Elmer, Levi and John Jr. and 5 sisters Maude Kaufman, Amanda Bontrager, Alma Miller, twin sister Emma Yoder, and Ida Miller. Anna is survived by 9 children Harley (Sara) Bontrager of Indianapolis, IN, Elmer (Loretta) Bontrager of Waynesboro, GA, Betty McCrone of Hartville, Mary (Roy) Yoder of Harrisonburg, VA, Dorothy Bontrager of Phoenix, AZ, Daniel (Ellen) Bontrager Jr. of Uniontown, Pauline (Lowell) Eby of Snow Hill, MD, Paul (Lois) Bontrager of North Canton, OH, and Jean Bontrager of Hartville; 44 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Byler of Goshen, IN and Catherine Miller of Indianapolis, IN. Calling hours are Sunday (TODAY) 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church 10587 Market Ave.,N. Funeral services are Monday 10:00 AM in the church with Pastor Eugene Sommers officiating. Viewing will be in the church Monday one hour before services 9-10 AM.
