Ann K. Hilscher, age 77, of Canton passed away January 12, 2023, following a 2-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Canton on November 8, 1945, and is a graduate of Lehman High School and Kent State University. She spent her career as a medical technologist at Aultman Hospital and Massillon Community Hospital in the virology and bacteriology departments. Ann was an avid reader, loved to travel, and loved to garden. She was also known for her love of family and pets.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Hilscher; daughters Heather (Frank) Moga of Minneapolis, MN and Trisha (Greg) Somich of Delray Beach, FL; grandchildren Ben and Luke Moga and Madison and Max Somich; brother David (Sue) Rasche; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 21 at 12 Noon at the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home, a memorial lunch buffet will be served at Desert Inn on January 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to encourage donations to Aultman's Cancer Center, or other organizations that focus on pancreatic cancer research or hospice care in Ann's memory.
