Andy E. Troyer, age 86, of Hartville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 11, 2011. He was born on June 2, 1925 in Middlefield, OH to the late Eli and Mary (Farmwald) Troyer. He was employed at East Ohio Limestone for almost 35 years and 19 of those years farmed the reclaimed mining land. During retirement, he worked at the Hartville Market Place for 15 years. He was a 58 year member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Andy is survived by his wife of 63 years Sylvia (Slabaugh) they were married January 1, 1948; his children Clara (Leroy) Sommers, Raymond (Marty), Viola (Rob) Wittmer, Andrew (Ruth), Marcus (Phoebe), Donnie (Brenda); 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; siblings Roman, Eli, Lydia Ann Miller, Triplet Alma Byler, Mary Yoder, Sarah Hershberger, Walter and Samuel; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by siblings Daniel, Katie, Levi, Noah, Abraham, 2 of the triplets Alvin and Alta, John and 2 infants. Calling hours are (today) Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Funeral services are Friday 10 AM in the church with Pastors Myron Weaver, Andrew Troyer and Vern Hostetler officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
