Amos S. Otto, age 76, of Canton, passed away on Thursday November 10, 2016. He was born on March 25, 1940 in Indiana to the late Samuel and Katie (Kemp) Otto. He retired from Teledyne Monarch Rubber Co. and was a member of Evermore Community Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Wagler Otto; son Ron (Bonnie) Otto of Illinois; daughters Tina (Todd) Miller of Hartville, Susan Otto of Canton; daughter-in-law Amy (Troy) Yoder of Portage Lakes; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Sylvia Erb, Alvin (Mabel) Otto, Louise (Ervin) Yoder, Lester (Miriam) Otto; brother-in-law Melvin (Carolyn) Slabaugh; and lots of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter Donna Otto; son Jeff Otto; sister Anna Slabaugh; and brother-in-law John Erb.

Calling hours are Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Evermore Community Church, 1470 Smith-Kramer St, Hartville. Funeral services are Tuesday 11 AM in the church with Pastors Ross Miller, Ron Otto and Henry Shrock officiating. Final viewing is Tuesday 10-10:45 AM.
