Alvin A. Schlabach, age 78 of Hartville went to be with his Lord, Friday May 4, 2007. He was born in Charm, Ohio on January 27, 1929 to the late Abner and Lula Schlabach. Alvin had been a construction supervisor for Prestige Homes. He was a member of the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and will be greatly missed. Survived by his wife of 52 years Ada; children and spouses, David and Angela Schlabach of Hartville, Tim and JoAnn Schlabach of Alliance, Melodie and Dave Sommers of Hartville; 5 grandchildren, Kristin and Arianna Schlabach, Austin and Wesley Schlabach, Brianna Sommers; brothers, Ray (Susie) of Costa Rica, Abner Jr. (Virginia) of Vermont; sisters Martha Coblentz, Mary (George) Bear all of Ohio. Preceded in death by brother LeRoy and sister Irene Yoder. Friends may call Sunday 5-8 PM in the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church.
