Alvin C. (Al) Garman, 71, went home to be with the Lord July 4, 2011 at St. Luke's Nursing Home in North Canton. He was born September 28, 1939 to Glen and Kathryn Garman, worked for Schoner Chevrolet and retired from the Akron-Canton Airport. Al was a member of Akron Baptist Temple. Preceded in death by mother Kathryn in 1995, sister Anne in 1997 and father Glen in 1998; he is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Joanne Garman of Greentown, Roy and Joyce Garman of Marlboro; six nieces, one nephew and many friends. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, 504 W. Maple St. Hartville with Pastor Ernie Kemppel officiating. Calling hours are two hours prior to the service Friday 9-11 AM. Interment is in Mount Pleasant Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
