Allen Clemson, age 70, of Canton passed away on Sunday September 24, 2017 at Heritage Villas where he has recently resided. He was born in Canton, Ohio on September 19, 1947 to the late Russell and Florence (Valotto) Clemson. After high school he was drafted into the Army and served from January 1968- January 1970. He was a Vietnam War Veteran. He met and married Joy Peterson and they had 2 sons. He worked at Danner Press.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law Kevin and Kelly Clemson of Nashville, TN, Jamie Clemson of North Canton; mother of his children Joy Clemson of North Canton; grandchildren Katelynn and Corey Clemson; brother Kenneth (Darlene) Clemson of East Canton and sister Virginia (Charles) Paul of Massillon.

Calling hours are (Today) Tuesday 5-6 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton and services begin at 6 PM in the funeral home with Kevin O'Brien officiating. A graveside committal service will be Wednesday 9:30 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman with military honors. A procession will depart the funeral home Wednesday at 8:30 AM for the cemetery.
