Alice "Dolly" Guido

Alice M. Guido, affectionately called “Dolly” by all who knew her from the time she was a child, departed her loving family into the arms of her Lord and Savior on October 1st, 2026. God has called home a truly gentle and loving soul. Heaven has gained an Angel, and Dolly leaves behind a beautiful legacy of grace, never-ending kindness, resolute love. And an unwavering devotion to her faith.

Dolly was born on October 29, 1930 to Oliver Wendall and Rose Hansford. She was a wonderful mother to two very blessed children who she raised with love of her life- Ross A. Guido- who she married on October 22, 1949. Her greatest joys in life were her marriage and children. She had a huge loving heart, cherished helping others, and loved making everyone feel welcome. She felt her marriage was truly a divine gift from above, and she and Ross relished spending fifty-seven years together in wedded bliss until his passing in 2006.

She is survived by her beloved son Dr. Gary J. (Shelly) Guido- who had the honor/privilege of caring for her the past twenty-five years, daughter Linda (Lorenzo) Denson, five grandchildren, and her sister Carmella Holman.

She is preceded in death by her cherished husband Ross, brother David Hansford, and sisters Mary Ciccarelli, Joan Cole and Barbara McDaniels.

There was no service. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date for all to pay their respect/honor her memory.
