Albertine S. Scarlott, age 96, of Canton, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 in St Luke Lutheran Community. She was born in Canton to the late Albert and Stephanie (Estock) Schopfer. Albertine was a 1935 graduate of McKinley High School. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Carroll County Historical Society, life member of McKinley Alumni Association and a former member of National Women in Construction. In addition to her parents Albertine was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Scarlott. She is survived by, nieces; Mackie (Walter) Oliver of Henrietta, TX, Nancy (Thom) Price of Wilmington, DE and nephew, William Scarlott of Riverside, NJ. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Christ Presbyterian Church with Rev. David deVries officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church Choir or to a charity of the donor's choice.
