Alberta A. "Bert" Ridenour, age 80, of Canton, died Wednesday evening in Aultman Hospital. Bert was born in Ironton, OH and spent most of her life in Lima, OH until moving to Canton in 1967. She was the former office manager for Dr. McCutcheon. Bert was a member of OES Trinity Lodge # 16, Community Christmas and was past officer and very active with AARP #5190. Bert was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the library. She is survived by her husband of 63 years: George L. Ridenour of the residence. Son: David L. (Janet) Ridenour of Dover, OH. Beloved Grandmother of Ann, Heidi, and Kate. Beloved Great Grandmother of great grandson Luke who was the apple of her eye. Also surviving is her Boston Terrier: Andy. Funeral service will be Saturday 2:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Gary A. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
