Albert R. Douglass, age 77, of Canton died Monday morning in Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Holloway, OH he had resided here most of his life. A retired machinist from Shanafelt Manufacturing he was a member of Crystal Park United Methodist Church and the Game Reserve Assoc. Survivors include his wife of 57 years: Dolores J. (Carroll) Douglass of the residence. Daughter: Mrs. Gary (Vickie) Motts of Canton. Son: Michael (Carrol) Douglass of Scottsdale, AZ. Four grandchildren: Mrs. Scott (Shelly) Morton, Chris Motts, Ashley and Trevor Douglass. Three sisters: Mrs. Charles (Kathryn) Ludwig and Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Kopf both of Canton, and Lena Locke of Oregon. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday in Crystal Park United Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Moock officiating. Interment will be in Greentown Cemetery.
