Alan Dale Spivey Alan Dale Spivey, age 63, passed away July 28, 2013 after an extended illness. Alan was born on September 3, 1949 in Canton and graduated from Perry High School in 1967. He lived in Mesa, Arizona for the last 20 years until recently when he moved back to the Cleveland area. He is preceded in death by his parents, A.G. and Ileen Spivey. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Susan Spivey; and a daughter and son-in-law, Ramona Spivey-Funk and Shane Funk. Five grandchildren, Savanah, Gavin, and Charlotte Spivey and Lydia and Simon Funk. He is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William (Lee) Spivey and Carolyn; and a sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and Kim Lentz. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the Arnold Funeral Home on Market Avenue on Sunday, August 11 at 3:00 PM. Visitation with the family will be one hour before the service.
