Obituary
Alan M. Gottesman age 70 of Canton, Ohio passed away Thursday May 3, 2018, at his residence. He was born May 12, 1947, in Akron to Herman and Bessie (Gross) Gottesman.
Alan graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Chemical Engineering and upon graduation joined General Tire as a Chemical Engineer where he spent his entire career spanning over 30 years. Alan was active with the Shaaray Torah Synagogue for many years.
He is survived by son and daughter in law David Gottesman and Samantha Pringle, and former wife Nancy (Sarich) Gottesman, brother Joe Gottesman of Arizona. Preceded in death by his son Joel M. Gottesman.
Graveside services will be held Sunday May 6th at 2:00PM at Canton Hebrew Cemetery with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Shaaray Torah Synagogue.
