Winfred Kenneth "Ken" Strait, 96, has gone Home to be with Jesus and his sweet, sweet Lois. He was a soldier (Army Air Corps- WW II), a carpenter, a construction superintendent, a "house doctor". He was a faithful son, a beloved brother and uncle. He was a cherished husband, a father and a child of God. In his final weeks, he sang about coming to see his Jesus and his sweetheart. And so he has. Ken leaves behind dearly loved siblings - Mary Lou & Bob; "kids" - Gary (Rima Khodadian), Michael (Irene Chung), Rebecca (Gary Wilbanks) and surrogate daughter, Sara (Charles Lloyd); grandchildren & great- grandchildren; as well as extended and adopted family ... whom he loved more than they can know. But he was eager to trade his weary and well-worn body for life everlasting. Ken and Lois are together again. A long-time member of Hillside Christian Church in Wichita KS, Ken attended First Baptist Church of Canton after moving to Ohio in 2008. There will be no memorial service.
