Helen G. McFadden, age 89, formerly of Canton died Tuesday in Athens, GA. Born in Breckenridge, PA to the late Howard & Georgella (Rittman) Thorne, she was a member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons: Raymond and Allan and her husband Virgil F. McFadden in 1993. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Gerald (Marsha) Betts of Athens, GA. and Mrs. Dave (Beverly) Scott of Orlando, FL. Ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Jonathan Reese officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Westbrook Park United Methodist Church 2521 12th St., N.W. Canton, OH 44708.
