Alice Stromsky Snyder

Alice Stromsky Snyder, Age 94, of Redwood City, CA, and most recently of Canton, OH, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019. Alice was born June 16, 1925 in Maynard, Ohio to Michael and Anna Stromski. After graduation from high school, she moved to Wheeling, WV where she met her husband of 65 years, John “Eddie” Snyder.

After several years living in Wheeling, they migrated west to California and settled in Redwood City. Alice was a 38 year employee of AAA Rental retiring in 2016 at age 90. Alice and Eddie were lifetime charter members of Redwood City Elks Lodge #1991 and parishioners of St. Matthias Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eddie; sisters, Mary and Verna; brothers, John, Stanley, Louis and Adam. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 25 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Saint Clairsville, Ohio with Fr. Tom Chillog officiating. Interment to follow at Saint Clairsville Union Cemetery.
